Traditional local food!

Our region is known for high quality fish and quality meat from lamb.

The water temperature is perfect for the cod, which every winter comes in large quantities to Lofoten and Vesterålen. This cod which comes to our region to spawn, is called Skrei, and it forms the basis for millions of various meals.

The salmon from the company Nordlaks who is located on Hadsel island, was named “best in test” by TV2’s Food control program. The water quality and temperature are two of the reasons.

The lamb in Vesterålen is eating grass that regularly is sea sprayed. The result is high quality meat where the taste is unique.

We strive to serve local food in our restaurant. Our food is going to reflect the unique aspects of Lofoten and Vesterålen. We hope traditional food with an exciting and modern twist, will ensure that your visit to our restaurant will be  a memorable one.
