Our region is known for its high quality fish and lamb.
The water temperature is perfect for the cod, which every year comes in large quantities to this region to spawn. In Norwegian we call this cod skrei, and it forms the basis for millions of cod meals of various kinds.
The farmed salmon of Nordlaks, a family-owned company based on Hadseløya, was named “best in test” by TV2’s Food Control. The water quality and the water temperature are two crucial factors that help achieve such a superior product.
The lambs in Vesterålen graze on salty grass pastures along the coastline. As a result, the meat is of outstanding quality and has a unique and exceptional taste.
In our restaurant we primarily use local produce and products. We are passionate about food that reflects our culture and our region.
Our chef has created traditional dishes with exciting and modern twists and we are convinced that a visit to our restaurant will guarantee an unforgettable culinary experience.
