Melbu Hotell has 58 rooms with their own identity and charm. Most of them have been renovated in recent years, have wooden flooring, tiled en-suite bathrooms, and are decorated with different themes.
Møysalen – Design double room
Rooms that are adapted to our hiking theme, with Møysalen mountain as inspiration. All rooms are the same, and an extra bed can be placed in these rooms.

Comfortable rooms with northern lights theme. All of these rooms have a small balcony that offers a lovely view of the Hadselfjord and Austvågøy.

Comfortable rooms of various shapes and sizes, and a northern lights theme. It is possible to request an extra bed for most of these rooms.

Standard triple room
Our most spacious room of approx. 23 sqm, where two of the three beds are placed beside each other on a low platform. Ideal for families with children.

Standard single room
Our comfortable single bed rooms are compact in size and have a northern lights theme. Each room has a desk, TV, kettle and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. Ideal for single travellers who are less concerned with the room’s view.

Budget double room
Smaller double rooms overlooking Melbu and the mountains. These rooms, including the en-suite bathrooms, were renovated over the last couple of years. Our budget double rooms contain the same equipment as our standard double rooms.

Our smallest room with standard furnishings and a newly renovated en-suite bathroom – perfect for solo travellers who don’t require a lot of space and intend to use the room primarily to rest and sleep.

The Wifi is of course free for all our guests during their stay.
Free parking
No extra costs! We offer our guests free parking during their stay.
Free access to gym
There is a separate gym in the hotel building. As our guest you have free access to the gym.
Toilet and shower
All rooms have their own toilet and shower, complete with a hairdryer and big fluffy towels.
TV, desk and kettle
Desk with space for your laptop and a kettle so that you can make yourself a cup of tea or coffee.
Access to washing machines
After a long day hiking in the mountains, it’s nice to be able to launder your clothes afterwards. You can get it done with us!
Checking in & checking out
Check-in is 3pm at the earliest on the day of arrival. Check-out must take place no later than 12 noon on the day of departure. It is possible to arrange a different check-in/out time upon request.
Cancellation policy
You can cancel the hotel room free of charge until 12 noon the day before arrival, provided the room was booked directly with the hotel. Other cancellation policies may apply if you book through other sales channels.

Our most important priority is to create a safe and pleasant stay for you. We ALWAYS adapt our operations and service offerings to current guidelines and rules from the government and industry organizations.
